Sharon Beattie is Quality Assurance & Training Lead (Quantum) and an Occupational Therapist & Care Expert Witness with Somek and Associates. She trains therapists to undertake expert witness work in all aspects of the medico-legal process and has been an expert witness for 16 years. Somek is one of the biggest providers of expert witnesses in the UK, delivering highly professional trained experts including occupational therapists, care experts, nurses, midwives, physiotherapists, speech and lang  OTs play a fundamental role in clinical negligence and personal injury litigation cases, by providing expert opinion to assist the courts in reaching decisions.
