Care Quality Pharmacy

Would your home pass an inspection tomorrow? A live medication readiness review.

Would your service be confident if an inspector walked through the door tomorrow?

This interactive live session will demonstrate a practical Medication Readiness Review using real-world examples commonly seen across health and social care settings. Attendees will be taken through key areas that inspectors and quality teams typically focus on when assessing medication management, including governance, recording, storage, administration, auditing and risk management.

Using anonymised scenarios, participants will see how common issues can be identified before they become incidents, complaints or inspection findings. The session will also explore simple steps that providers can take to strengthen medication processes, improve oversight and create a culture of medication safety throughout their organisation.

Designed for care home managers, quality leads, registered managers and operational leaders, this session will provide practical takeaways that can be implemented immediately within services. Attendees will leave with a clearer understanding of medication risk indicators, common compliance gaps and the actions that can help improve both quality outcomes and inspection readiness.

This is an educational session focused on medication safety, quality improvement and continuous compliance within care services.
