Designing Care That Works: Flexibility, Stability and the Role of AI

Care providers are under pressure to offer more flexibility while maintaining safe, consistent care—but most workforce models weren’t built for today’s reality. At the same time, AI and digital tools promise efficiency, yet often fail to improve day-to-day staff experience.

This session explores how care organisations can redesign work itself—balancing flexibility with stability, and using AI to support (not disrupt) frontline teams. Attendees will leave with a clearer understanding of what the future workforce model in care needs to look like—and how to start building it.
