Speaker Bio:

Emma is an Associate of Care and Support West, she has dedicated 27 years to working in social care, 20 of those specialising in technology enabled care (TEC). She’s passionate about improving lives through practical and innovative solutions, combining her knowledge of the adult social care sector with a user-centered approach to technology, she understands what’s needed to embed TEC into social care settings that delivers meaningful outcomes for individuals whilst maximising value for organisations.
Emma has led the introduction and spread of a range of technologies, increasing independence and improving health and wellbeing for people living in supported living and residential care - including the implementation of TEC as part of major transitions e.g. moving people from large campus-style environments to community-based living.
Emma has led and partnered in a range of pilots and R&D projects, helping to create, enhance and embed technologies to meet the needs of people.
