Speaker Bio:
Chris Connell is an Associate Director with the NICE Field Team covering the south of England and Wales. Jane Jacobi, also with the NICE Field Team, covers the South West. Their roles are to help organisations and staff make best use of NICE guidance in health and social care; ensuring that they are kept up to date on latest developments, sharing examples of best practice and ensuring the views of users are fed back and reflected in the work of the Institute.
Before joining NICE, Chris was General Manager for Medicine and A&E at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust. Having previously worked in Gloucester, Norwich, Birmingham and Walsall, Chris has sixteen years experience of operational management within the NHS, covering most acute specialties as well as mental health and learning disabilities.
An experienced, motivated and highly enthusiastic Nurse, Jane has had an extensive career working within acute secondary care, the complex and diverse commissioning arena as Senior Quality and Patient Safety Manager to her current role as Implementation Facilitator with NICE
