In 2003, our founding partners, a care home owner and two software developers, identified a lack of care-focused software available on the market. Although care home systems were available for accounts and business administration, there was nothing designed around care records, created specifically for managers and care staff and so Ablyss Systems was born.
With the support of both her business partners, and her extensive experience of creating systems from the ground up, Sally White spearheaded the creation process of a Care Management System tailored for the needs of any care home; a mammoth task given the variety and greatly differing needs of the UK residential care home market.
Two years later, in 2005, after thorough research and development and much help and input from care home managers and owners, the Ablyss Care Management System was released. The first offering of this system was CMS Desktop which still remains the beating heart of our software family. In line with new technology and hardware innovations, CMS Touch was released 2010, followed by CMS Tablet in 2013.
Throughout the years, as the software has evolved and our customer base has grown, so too has Ablyss Systems. We now have a dedicated team at our Cheshire based head office who continually develop the system and provide efficient, friendly support to all of our customers. Our regional care consultants will assess your needs and are at hand to advise and guide you, while our training staff travel the length and breadth of Great Britain, keeping both new and existing customers up to date and confident with their CMS knowledge.
Ablyss Systems, and our Care Management System, continues to grow and evolve. Our excellent customer service, training and on-going development means that we will be here in the market as your trusted software supplier for many years to come.
