The importance of face-to-face training in the care industry

17 Jul 2024
Seminar 2
Training within the health and social care industry is absolutely vital to ensure that care staff are competent. During the pandemic, the requirement for training remained and in fact became an important component for supporting staff through an incredibly challenging time. E-learning became a central resource for care providers, however, following on from Covid-19, many are still heavily reliant upon e-learning as a method for training their staff. Nobody can deny that e-learning still has its place within the training of care staff, especially with the digital age we are living in, but it is also essential we return to face-to-face training. This session will focus on why face-to-face training is so important within the health and social care sector. We will address the benefits of face-to-face training for the care provider, the staff and most importantly for service users and tips for finding effective and high-quality face-to-face training.
