CQC Compliance, business performance, workforce wellbeing & resident quality of life. Some Providers' strategies.

17 Jul 2024
Keynote Stage Sponsored by Access UK
Anita Astle, Issac Theophilos and Geoffrey Cox, between them, have an enormous amount of experience running successful Care Homes and will present briefly in the limited time available, on some key individual perspectives concerning business performance, sustainability, regulatory success and workforce retention. These are of course highly challenging, complex and uncertain times. The challenges are well documented, governmental under investment, poor commissioning, unstable markets, recruitment challenges and ineffective regulation against a back drop of increasing complexity, increasing expectation from virtually all stakeholders, and a somewhat unforgiving culture that can operate within the Health and social care commissioning infrastructure. They will be happy to share some top tips which they believe have been successful in their organisations and will be happy to answer questions on these subjects to support fellow providers. This care show will co-incide with the early days of the new administration. What will change, when it might change and how any election pledges or policies will be implemented, will be important questions of course. Yet it seems that with the enormity of the multiple challenges in prevailing conditions, the woeful state of public finances, Providers will not likely be expecting any comprehensive change, very quickly. It will no doubt will be increasingly essential to develop our own services to meet these rising challenges as best we can, and as we always have done. Probably, sharing strategies, methodologies and proven initiatives between us will accelerate our individual resourcefulness, resolve and effectiveness.
